Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies and vaccinations

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

How to sign-up

For more information, please contact reception or next time you visit the surgery, bring with you a piece of photo ID (passport, driving licence) and something with your address on like a bank statement but not a gas or electric bill. If you don’t have these, please talk to us and we will help you sign-up.  We also require your email address and up to date mobile number.

There are many way in which you can access our services online.  There are several apps available to Apple and Android users, and websites for those who prefer not to use a mobile phone or tablet.  Patient Access is the new website for using these services, and can be reached at www.patientaccess.com.  Here you will be prompted to either Log In or Register if it is your first time using the site, and from there you can continue to appointments or to view and request any repeat medication.

Access

There is wheelchair access to the Health Centre, an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.

Test Results

To view your test results you can view them through the NHS app or Patient access if you have access to these services. If you would like to call the surgery for your results please do this after a 11am. 

MEASLES OUTBREAK 

Measles cases in Greater Manchester are rising. Measles is an infection that spreads very easily and can cause serious problems in some people. Having the MMR vaccine is the best way to prevent it and protect our communities.

Measles symptoms include: high fever, sore, red, watery eyes: coughing; aching and feeling generally unwell; a blotchy red brown rash, which usually appears after initial symptoms.

If you have symptoms of measles, stay at home and phone us or NHS 111 for advice. Stay away from GP surgeries and A&E departments

Stay off nursery, school, or work for at least 4 days from when the rash first appears.

It’s never too late to be vaccinated. You need two doses of the MMR vaccine to be fully protected against measles, mumps and rubella.

If your child has missed any of their MMR vaccines, contact us today on 01204 463232.

We give the 2nd MMR vaccine dose at around 3 years and 4 months, before your child starts school.

Online consultations

We are providing a new way for our patients to access self-help and advice, 24/7, 365 days a year by introducing online consultations.  This allows patients to get information for a wide range of new or long term health conditions, and contact a GP online for non-urgent advice and information about treatment, without requiring an appointment.   Once your query has been sent, you will receive a reply back within 48 hours from a Doctor advising of the best course of action for you based on your query. 

This service can be used to request the following:

  • Continuation of a sick note
  • Requests for medication
  • General, non-urgent health queries
  • Requesting test results

If you need any of the above, you do not need an appointment with the Doctor, this can be requested via the website link below and someone will provide a response within 48 hours. THIS SERVICE IS NOT FOR EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS.

If you struggle to complete this form online, do not have internet access or the use of a smartphone/tablet/laptop, please call reception and they will happily fill out for the form for you. Please be aware that they may have to ask you some personal questions regarding the reason for the appointment, so this can be sent for triage by the Doctor.
